Newquay Zoo is offering a brand new and unique experience - lemur feeding!
Lemur enthusiasts will have the opportunity to get closer to Newquay Zoo’s friendly ring-tailed lemurs by venturing onto their island with a bowl of tasty treats for the primate residents.
If you would like to meet our lemurs up close then this is the perfect experience for you. Join a member of our zoo team to meet, greet and feed our ring-tailed lemurs in their enclosure. Spend time watching their aerobatic antics and observing their social grouping.

3.30 pm daily (pre-booking is essential)
All money raised will go towards the new Gems of the Jungle Aviary, which will help to raise awareness about the plight of Asian songbirds.
What your experience involves:
- Free full day admission to the zoo with an inclusive hot drink
(vouchers provided on the day).
- Meet a member of our zoo team at Reception and then head ‘behind the scenes’ to Lemur Island and enter the lemur enclosure.
- Spend time meeting and feeding our friendly group of lemurs.
- Ask questions and find out about these exciting animals.

As well as the fantastic memories you will take home, you will also receive;

| Participant guidelines Participants must be over 10 years old. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, as the second guest. Duration: The experience lasts around 20 minutes but you are welcome to spend the full day in the zoo. Dress code: Sensible footwear as the path to Lemur Island is uneven. Old, comfortable clothes. Waterproof clothing if the weather is wet, as the experience will still take place. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch but they will not be able to accompany you onto Lemur Island.
