As a charity, volunteers play a vital role in the life of the Zoo, contributing to our success, enhancing visitor experience and assisting us to raise awareness of global conservation projects.

We are always looking for honest, friendly and reliable volunteers who have an interest in wildlife to help us in a range of interesting roles throughout the Zoo. We are looking for people who can lend a hand regularly (support every week on a regular duty day) who are outgoing and who enjoy interacting with the public.

Although volunteers do not work directly with the animals, all of the activities contribute directly to the Zoo and its conservation projects.
