Civet Coffee: From Rare to Reckless

Join us & University Centre Newquay to find out more about the civet coffee trade!

On 22nd April, Newquay Zoo and University Centre Newquay are hosting a film screening of the brand new documentary ‘Civet Coffee: From Rare to Reckless’.

The film shows, for the first time, the growing trade of civet coffee in Vietnam, home to the endangered Owston’s civet. The documentary investigation takes a team of researchers from The Civet Project Foundation on a fact-finding mission to uncover the true cost of civet coffee on civet welfare, conservation and human health.

After the documentary screening staff from Newquay Zoo will be sharing details of their involvement in the conservation-breeding programme for Owston’s Civets.

This is a FREE event, with some light refreshments provided, but number are limited, so please book your place through the link below.
