Join the Zoo Rangers for ‘Fact or frightful fiction’ – the true or false game that aims to bust the myths around some of the more creepy species. Then, only if you’re brave enough, discover our ‘Trick or don’t eat’ game where you’ll learn all about animals that are poisonous or venomous and the species that mimic them! Plus, enjoy our daily fang-tastic animal talks and keep an eye out for special Halloween themed animal enrichment during the week.
There will also be a selection of Halloween themed food available at our catering outlets throughout the week!
With hundreds of animals and 13 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens to explore, you’re in for a spook-tacular time at Newquay Zoo. Find all of your favourite species, from red pandas to penguins, lemurs to lynx, snakes to spiders, and discover rare and exciting new animals along the way.

Plus, our Zoo Rangers will treat you to a selection of spooky animal tales, sharing some fascinating facts about some of the zoo’s creepiest creatures. They will explore some of their clever behaviours they’ve developed to avoid predators and capture prey.
