UK and Ireland Regional Environmental Enrichment Conference

Join us for the 8th UK and Ireland Regional Environmental Enrichment Conference from Sunday, 11 September to Wednesday, 14 September 2022.

The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for animal carers from across the UK and Ireland to meet and discuss environmental enrichment for species of all types.

The event will take place in locations across Newquay Zoo, as well as at neighbouring Cornwall College Newquay. It will be packed with talks, workshops, keynote speakers, practical builds run by Team Building with Bite, and a variety of great social activities.

Invitation to present

Delegates are invited to submit abstracts for both oral and poster presentations during the 8th UK and Ireland Regional Environmental Enrichment Conference. Both experimental and practical based presentations are encouraged but all should be goal focused. A new ‘speed presentation’ session will be introduced this year, which will be a great chance for delegates to showcase a new enrichment device they have trialled.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, 22 July 2022. All abstracts will be reviewed by at least two referees and it is anticipated that authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission within one week of the submission deadline.

To have the chance of presenting at this year’s conference, please fill in an Abstract Submission Form and email it to [email protected].
