The judging panel, including respected artist John Dyer, Zoo director Stewart Muir and Lee Trewhela from the Cornish Guardian, met on Wednesday afternoon and struggled to choose winners after a fantastic response to the Zoos Art competition. With over 200 entries across 3 age categories the competition was tough!

Zoo director Stewart Muir said: We were delighted by the number of entries and the high standard of the pictures sent in, although this made judging very difficult! This was a great opportunity for children to engage with the Zoo as part of Love Your Zoo week, and for the winners, its a chance to display their artwork in Cornwalls biggest Zoo.

Winners will be receiving certificates shortly and will also be invited to attend a presentation with their families.
