A brand new aviary opposite the African Savanna exhibit has been completed, and is now home to a variety of beautiful birds.
Chirruping and tweeting amongst the carefully chosen planting you can see golden bishops, blacksmith plovers and yellow-backed widow birds.
Zoo Director Stewart Muir said; ‘‘I am thrilled by the positive response from our visitors that we have had to our new aviary. Its completion finishes off this area of the Zoo, which has seen considerable development since the expansion of the African Savanna in 2008.’’
