In July several of the Keepers at Newquay Zoo were interviewed by staff from the Met Office as part of their project ‘My Climate and Me’. They were asked to think of questions for climate change scientists, which have now gone forward for a public vote to decide which question should be put to the scientific team. The Met Office crew captured some great footage of our keepers talking passionately about the animals they work with, and demonstrated their concern for the future of these species in the wild. Among the species discussed were Sulawesi Black Macaques, Asian newts, Lions and the Blue Throated Laughing Thrush.

The Video footage and questions are now available to view on the 'My Climate and Me' website
