How to get here by car:

Set your Sat Nav for TR7 2LZ. Newquay Zoo is located at Trenance Gardens, just off the A3058, one mile from Newquay town centre. Follow the brown tourist signs marked Newquay Zoo. You will then find us situated right next to Waterworld Leisure Centre and Better Extreme Trampoline and Play Park. 

  • From Exeter: About 1 hour, 30 minute drive, via A30
  • From Plymouth: About 1 hour drive, via A38 and A30.
  • From Penzance/ St. Ives: About 45 minute to 1 hour drive, via A30 and A3075.

There is a Cornwall Council owned car park adjacent to our zoo with 820 car park spaces. There are 5 designated disabled parking bays located right next to Newquay Zoo’s main entrance. Blue badge holders must display a valid blue badge.

Please be aware that from 2nd January – April 2024 there will gas pipe works on Trenninick Hill and Treloggan Road which is likely to cause delays, so please allow extra time for travel.

PLEASE NOTE:

There are additional car park fees when using the Council owned car park between 1st April – 31st October.

Blue badge holders must also pay the normal parking fees unless:

  • The vehicle is registered under the Cornwall Council exemption scheme
  • The vehicle has been specially adapted for a disabled person.

How to get here by bus:

There are regular bus services that stop at Newquay Zoo. For more information, please visit: firstbus.co.uk.


How to get here by train:

Newquay train station is located in the town centre, which is just a short 10 minute walk to Newquay Zoo. Alternatively, you can catch a bus from the train station which will bring you directly to Newquay Zoo. 


How to get here by bike:

Just outside the main entrance, in the Council owned car park, there is a bike rack for visitors who cycle to Newquay Zoo.


How to get here by the Land Train:

Hop on the Land Train and take an open air journey around Newquay. The journey will take up to 1 hour, with Newquay Zoo being the final stop. The Land Train runs from Easter until the end of October, with services running hourly. Find full information, including prices, here.

Visitors travelling to Newquay Zoo by a sustainable form of transport (train, bike or bus) will receive a discount on the entry price on production of a valid travel ticket at our zoo entrance, if applicable.
